Babeeta is a UK-born singer-songwriter and poet of Indian descent whose work—spanning healthcare, wellness, and the arts—blends melodies from the East and West. She likes to refer to herself as a global citizen, having lived and worked in Canada, Japan, India, Germany, and France. Trained as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist and Sri Sri Yoga teacher, she inspires others toward healthier, happier living. Babeeta is also an author, dancer, and founder of Nataraja Wellness and its initiative, “Artists for Peace.” Now based in White Rock, BC, she uses teaching, writing, and the performing arts to promote universal human values: peace, love, joy, truth, beauty, and compassion.
Amarjeet Singh, founder of Naad Arts Centre, holds a Master’s in Music and is an accomplished tabla performer. He trained under his brother Deedar Singh and Guru Shri Thakur Kishan Singh Ji of the Benaras Gharana. As a Cultural Ambassador for the Indian Council for Cultural Relations, he taught and performed in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and later joined the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts at the University of Delhi. Singh has received several awards, including the Sangeet Bhushan, Leadership Circle,Heritage Defender and the Innovation in the Arts Award, and was nominated for the Mayor’s Arts Award in Surrey in 2023.
